John this happens on single display. I have not tried it on a separate
monitor to see. maybe I should have check before submitting a report.
when alert is displayed, it is only shown at top of screen. I will check
to see if same response is seen on a duel monitor system. my system is
kubuntu 10.10/64 bit

Will post back results.

settings>Configure Openlp> Alert

When choosing option to where to place the alert on the display, that options is not past on. all other options like font, colors, timing ,etc are past on correctly.
