[Bug 718174] Re: OpenLP fails to start on Windows XP if account name contains Cyrillic characters

 

The process log seems to be some form of binary format. What do I need
to read it? Plain text would be better. Thanks.

Bug description:
  Steps to reproduce
  1. Install OpenLP OpenLP-1.9.4-bzr1274 on Windows XP SP3 RU with latest updates installed 
  2. Make sure your account name contains Cyrillic characters.
     (Because Windows puts %appdata% to C:\Documents and Settings\$username$\Application Data so if your account contains Cyrillic characters this path would be look like C:\Documents and Settings\РусскийПользователь\Application Data
  3. Start OpenLP.

  Expected result
  OpenLP starts successfully
  It is possible to start OpenLP with -l debug key.

  Actual result
  OpenLP fails to start

  Workaround
  Use only English characters in the profile name. So, if your user has name USER OpenLP works.
