Review: Needs Fixing
Our coding standards indicate that you should be using variable_names. Please use those standards. "versetype", "versenum", etc. are not acceptable in light of the standards.

To quote:

    Instance Variables

    Use the function naming rules: lowercase with words separated by underscores as necessary
    to improve readability.
