Unfortunately I don't think there is a way to fix this. Not only that,
Jonathan is the one who knows the best, and he's currently unable to
spend much time on OpenLP.

Bug description:
  When OpenLP is running, Impress won't start anymore. I figure there's
  some kind of lock on it by OpenLP...

  Specs:
  PC, i3, 3GB RAM, Ubuntu 10.10, OpenLP 1.9.3, OpenOffice 3.2.1
