OK, I'll approve this because it does appear to fix the bug.

In testing though, I have found related problems which I thought were regressions but I've now found they are problems in the beta too. I'll bug report them later:

1. Blank ppt and then go to song, and song isn't blank.
2. Blank to theme song and go to ppt, and the ppt isn't blanked at all.
