[Bug 774802] Re: presentation screen is shown with top panel in Ubuntu 11.04 using Unity (nVidia driver))
Rastislav,
I finally got the chance to play with that some. seems like the entire
display is shifted down. I noticed when I moved to the desktop below I
had part of the slide showing. I have my panels set to transparent so
could see the slide underneath. I messed with the display settings but
never had a lot of success there but don't know a lot there either. I
guess the "classic desktop" is the best solution now. I am thinking that
whatever solution is found will be stop gap, because the rumblings I
have been hearing is that Ubuntu 11.10 will incorporate GNOME 3, and
have unity on top of it so will probably be another mess next release.

Title:
presentation screen is shown with top panel in Ubuntu 11.04 using
Unity (nVidia driver))
Status in OpenLP - Worship Presentation Software:

Bug description:
When I installed and ran Openlp in Ubuntu 11.04 which uses Unity I
have encountered problem with Openlp's presentation screen which also
shows the top panel (with wifi, sound, clock, etc indicators). The top
panel is presented on the second (presentation) monitor before I have
turned openlp, but if you try e.g. LibreOffice and start presentation
- the presentation screen takes the whole screen and doesn't show the
top panel.
