I get this too.

1. Set the "blank screen" to "Show Desktop"
2. Close OpenLP
3. Start OpenLP
4. The default image (the OpenLP logo on the white background) displays for a few seconds before disappearing.

  On application startup default images flashes on live output

Status in OpenLP - Worship Presentation Software:
  New

Bug description:
  This is happening in the 1.9.5 release.

  Start OpenLP had "Show Desktop", and select "show desktop" on the live output
  Exit OpenLP
  Start OpenLP again... the Default Image displays on the live output for a few seconds and then the desktop appears again.
