[Bug 792282] Re: WIN + D minimises the Display Screen

OpenLP is consistent with PowerPoint, Impress, openlp v1, and every
other application I have worked with in this respect. I don't think we
should counter users expectations and Windows intent with our own
interpretation of the Minimize all button, by thinking our app is above
the rules.

As many examples there are to want this behaviour, we could come up with
as many against this behaviour. Lets just do what everyone else does and
expects.

However saying that: Following this change, minimizing the OpenLP Main
Window now also minimizes the Display Window. This interestingly is
consistent with v1, but PowerPoint does allow you to minimize the main
app without the display getting minimized.

Title:
WIN + D minimises the Display Screen

Status in OpenLP - Worship Presentation Software:
  New

Bug description:
  Hello,

Before revision 1964 you could use the Windows Key + D to minimizes
all applications (including OpenLP). However, the display screen would
not be minimised. This was very handy when you had to start another
  application or similar things.

But in revision 1964 this was (probably unintentionally) changed.
Actually this is the correct behaviour, but not for this particular
case (at least I think so). I expect the display screen not to be
minimised. If you want to minimise you can you our "Show Desktop"
  shortcut ("D").

  The relevant diff: http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~openlp-
  core/openlp/trunk/revision/1594#openlp/core/ui/maindisplay.py

Reverting this, makes it work as expected. However, reverting this is
not a real possibility for us!

  Cheers
