Review: Needs Fixing
Not a fan of mixing mixed case and underscores!

Given the information that plugin.name isn't the display name, can we go back to the name 'Custom'. This will also have the benefit of you not needing to change mediaitem.py, custom settings will be preserved between 1.9.5 and 1.9.6, and the plugin name will go back to matching the folder name.
