I've been putting the songbook+number (i.e. HCC384) as the alternative
title, which comes back in the search results.

To do them all quickly, I exported all the songs and wrote a script to
add the alternative title tags automatically to the XML files, then
deleted and reimported the songs into OpenLP.

We also have multiple song books and encounter duplicate (or more)
titles for different songs.  Like S. Scudder, we are adding the book and
number to the title.  We put it at the end of the title so as not to
affect the alphabetical sequence.  But since we have a few thousand
songs, this will be a long and gradual process.  The request is a good
one.
