Message #14504
[Bug 927585] Re: Gracefully handle cases where the user closes the presentation application
I have seen this a few times on the support tracker.
It happens when the user closes PPT & Impress, and then tries to do
something that requires it, such as add a presentation (need for
thumbnail generation) Displaying a presentation.
I have seen reports from when OpenLP exits and tries to close the
presentation program.
I couldn't really find any specific bug reports to support my above
statment, but the following are similar:
http://support.openlp.org/issues/385
http://support.openlp.org/issues/381
http://support.openlp.org/issues/351
http://support.openlp.org/issues/400

Title:
Gracefully handle cases where the user closes the presentation
application
Status in OpenLP - Worship Presentation Software:
Incomplete
Bug description:
There are a number of bug reports with regards to the user shutting
down PowerPoint or Impress before OpenLP is closed, causing an
exception on close. We should handle this exception gracefully, pretty
much ignoring it.
