The cause in my case appears to be the  vlc.get_default_instance(),
perhaps it needs releasing somewhere.

  process continues running on exit

Bug description:
  OpenLP 1.9.7, Windows 7 Home Premium x64

  Steps:
  1. Open Task Manager and check no OpenLP processes
  2. Launch OpenLP
  3. Exit OpenLP
  4. OpenLP process still running in Task Manager. It does not self-terminate after any amount of time. There are two processes, approx 80MB and 700KB RAM.
