I'm a bit unclear as to why the prohibited slide break might be required, and why the optional one won't suffice.
For example I think it is much clearer to have

Other Line
[OptionalBreak]
Lines I want to keep together
Lines I want to keep together
Lines I want to keep together
Lines I want to keep together
Lines I want to keep together
[OptionalBreak]
Other Line

Than to have

Other Line
Lines I want to keep together
[DoNotBreak]
Lines I want to keep together
[DoNotBreak]

[DoNotBreak]
Lines I want to keep together
[DoNotBreak]
Lines I want to keep together
OtherLine

Is there an example where this won't suffice?

  The prohibited break is necessary to make sure, that diffenent parts which are sung at the same time appear on the same slide. It has the similar effect like adding a preferred/optional page break at all other positions (but you might want to use both kinds in the same song).
