I get this too. Touch the screen to scroll, then start moving and the
background disappears. Let go and it comes back!

Bug description:
  I am using Andoid 2.3.4 and the latest OpenLP version and I get this bug:
  In the Android app, the background picture gets blacked out when you try to scroll up or down in settings.
