[Bug 743273] Re: User interface on OS X is not like a standard Mac application
@Brian and Martin: one natural idea for the "simple" shortcuts using
"Alt" and "Ctrl" on the other platforms was to replace that with "Alt"
and "Cmd" - were it makes sense. I personally have to admit that I only
use the basic short cuts (e.g. to blank / unblank the screen etc) and
never use one of the F-key ones.
For the F-keys I don't see a direct intuitive replacement possibility,
things like "Cmd+1" are possible and the closest I can think of but not
really a direct equivalent. @Brian What are your ideas here?
I don't know how many users actually use it on Windows *and* OS X. I
personally only use it on OS X, just "use" it on Windows when I show it
to others on a Windows PC.

- Preferences is mapped to the keyboard shortcut dialog
- Exit in the File menu shows (and contains Alt+F4 shortcut)
- Alert is mapped to F7
- Plugin list is mapped to Alt+F7
- Media Manager, ... are mapped to F8-F12
