[Bug 1065260] Re: osx - allow running openlp on Mountain Lion
This should probably go to manual section: 'Installing OpenLP on Mac OS
X'
The user has to go to:
- APPLE_ICON -> System Preferences -> Security & Privacy
- click on the lock icon in the left bottom corner of the window to be able change these settings
- then check 'Anywhere' in 'Allow applications downloaded from:'

Title:
osx - allow running openlp on Mountain Lion
Status in OpenLP - Worship Presentation Software:
New
Status in OpenLP documentation series:
New
Bug description:
With osx 10.8 (Mountain Lion) apple introduced a feature 'GateKeeper'
that prevents installing apps from other resources outside of
appstore. This prevents openlp to even start on osx.
The user has to manually allow running apps from 'anywhere' in order
to start openlp.
We should put into the manual how to do that. It should be also
mentioned in the FAQ.
