What sort of delay, and how many songs?
3000 songs on Windows is instantaneous for me

  song export dialog should avoid song sorting

Status in OpenLP - Worship Presentation Software:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Song export dialog contains list of all sons. To create this list of
  songs all songs has to be sorted. However, with a lot of song the
  sorting is expensive and could cause some delays in UI response.

  We could probably avoid this if songexport would somehow reuse the
  already sorted song list that is available in the song media item.
