Tim,

I cannot locate the trace back for this error, but from memory it is the
same/similar as http://support.openlp.org/issues/1676

Do you think this fix might work on the Presentation plugin maybe with a
try.. except.. delay... try again (so as not to slow down the loading of
presentations )

  Song Import does not handle LibreOffice correctly

Status in OpenLP - Worship Presentation Software:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Two problems with LibreOffice have been noticed.
  - It is possible for the Song imported to get ahead of itself before LibreOffice has started and then error.  This causes the Import to be restarted.
  - On closing down OpenLP this is no callback to the Song Importer to close LibreOffice so it is left open.
