This was a QString > unicode conversion error. So it has been fixed by
Andreas' sip-patch. I was asked to file a bug report to support Samuels
OpenLP/2.0 merge request.

  When importing presentations, with a file name containing non-ASCII characters, a exception is thrown.
  Reproducable: always
  Reason: file list of the open dialog is passed as list of QString.
