Darryl, since I cannot reproduce your problem (even when using your
theme) this must be a problem with your computer.

What is your desktop background? My second monitor's background is just
plain black, hence my transparent themes seem black, when they are not.
Have you tried placing an application on your projection desktop to
confirm that your theme is actually black? I can play a video using VLC
behind your transparent theme, and it works quite nicely, actually.

Do you have 3D graphics enabled? I think transparency requires 3D
graphics to be enabled.

  Hey guys!

  Just installed OpenLP version 2.0.1 on my ubuntu studio 12 10 system.

  Suddenly transparent themes are displaying as black...

  Am I doing something wrong?
