[Bug 1249707] Re: Linked Audio starts with a click
Hi Keith,
I've looked some more into this issue, and while I can't reproduce it, I've noticed that the audioplayer that deals with linked audio is hardcoded to use the Phonon backend. We should probably change that!
In the meantime, could you try out the latest beta or nightly build and see the the problem still exists there? You should probably try the portable build to avoid touching existing data (you won't be able to downgrade...)

Bug description:
I am running OpenLP 20.3 on a Windows 7.0 Enterprise operating system.
When I link an MP3 file to a song and press the play button there is a
loud click before the song starts playing.
If I use the MP3 as a Media file the click does not occur.
