Great to hear it worked!
I'm going to close this bug report with the "invalid" status, not because it isn't a real issue, but because it's not really a OpenLP bug. We'll try to change the audio-backend player to be changeable, but unfortunately it won't make it into the upcoming 2.2 release.

  Linked Audio starts with a click

Status in OpenLP - Worship Presentation Software:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  I am running OpenLP 20.3 on a Windows 7.0 Enterprise operating system.

  When I link an MP3 file to a song and press the play button there is a
  loud click before the song starts playing.

  If I use the MP3 as a Media file the click does not occur.
