[Bug 1309855] Re: Video started while blanked to theme does not play when theme is unblanked.

I've been told that the new version of OpenLP (2.1.1 and higher) is 64
bit, while the old one was 32-bit. This means that while 32-bit VLC was
needed for the old (2.0.5 and older), 64-bit VLC is now needed. I hope
this helps...

Title:
Video started while blanked to theme does not play when theme is
  unblanked.

Status in OpenLP - Worship Presentation Software:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Steps to reproduce:
  • Add a video to service.
  • Blank to theme.
  • Play the video (without previously unblanking from theme)
  • Unblank from theme.

  Expected results:
  • Screen displays blank theme.
  • When video is played, screen continues to display blank theme, and video is paused.
  • When screen is unblanked, video is displayed, and automatically unpaused.

  Actual results:
  • Screen displays blank theme.
  • When video is played, screen displays black background, and video is paused.
  • When screen is unblanked, black background continues to be displayed, and video remains paused.

To observe expected behaviour, start the video *before* blanking to
theme, then blank to theme and unblank. Note that the issue only
occurs if blanked to theme *before* video is started.

  Note:
This is not restricted to "Blank to Theme". It also occurs when using "Blank Screen" and "Show Desktop".

  Details:
  Known Operating Systems:
  • Windows 7
  • OS X 10.9

  OpenLP version:
  2.0.4

Debug log is attached, although I'm not sure how useful it will be.
