[Bug 1397606] Re: Usability - Themes
Its not possible to use the systems file dialog boxes and change the
text on the button label. Using PyQt's file dialog box, in my opinion,
would provide a worse user experience than our current method

Title:
Usability - Themes
Status in OpenLP - Worship Presentation Software:
In Progress
Bug description:
Couple things I noticed in the themes wizard.
On the "Set Up Background" page with the "Background type:" set to "Image" and with a file path "/home/user/backgrounds/image.jpg" in the "Image" line edit.
Current behaviour: Clicking the blue folder button shows the file selection dialog and shows users home folder ("/home/user/").
Expected behaviour: Clicking the blue folder button should show the file selection dialog and show the parent folder of the currently selected file ("/home/user/backgrounds/") if valid.
When exporting a theme and the file dialog is shown the button reads
"open", it would be more accurate if it read something like "select
folder" or just "select"
