[Bug 1424330] Re: OpenLP Loops Presentations on start up
I've had a look at this and it looks like the problem is that at startup we delete all existing thumbnails of known presentations and recreate them. This kind of make sense, since presentations could have changed since last time OpenLP was used. But it sure is annoying.
We could simply skip the recreation of thumbnails. Or save a file-hash or file-timestamp and update thumbnails if that doesn't match anymore.

Title:
OpenLP Loops Presentations on start up
Status in OpenLP - Worship Presentation Software:
New
Bug description:
I have 2 one slide presentations and on startup the md5hash routine
runs wild.
I have noticed a 5 sec wait in startup after the service file has
loaded so this may be it but this does not look good.
