[Bug 1430940] Re: Volume slider returns to 100 on playback while volume remains muted

I looked a bit into this one, and as far as I can tell we actually do
pass the volume to VLC, but just fails (it returns -1). And it seems
others have seen it as well: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/18377351

Title:
Volume slider returns to 100 on playback while volume remains muted

Status in OpenLP - Worship Presentation Software:
  New

Bug description:
When playing videos on the live screen, if you set the volume to 0 and
then replay the video, the volume remains muted but the volume control
  is set back to 100%.

  Steps to reproduce:

  1. Play a video live
  2. Drag volume control to 0
  3. Stop video
  4. Play video again. Notice how the volume control now shows 100%
  5. Note that the volume is still muted
  6. Drag the volume control around and note how the volume is restored
