This will need to be defined as a call back to query the media every second / milli second to obtain this or find the call back from the media player.
Adding to wish list and should not be considered until the qt5 migration is complete.

Bug description:
  There is no way to know what the current time of video. U can set start and end position in schedule but it's not possible set it while previewing. 
  There is big black block of video control where it could be located, right down conner for exemple.
