We cant do anything about powerpoint or vlc, as the browser based are in
a browser. Perhaps when a transparent theme is used in OpenLP the
browser based views should just use a black background. That would fix
this bug as best we can considdering the limitations of the browser
based views.

  Blank to desktop does not work in browser based views

Status in OpenLP:
  New

Bug description:
  If using transparent theme text does not go away 
  in browser based views if blanked to desktop.

  Neither do the backgrounds work if some are used behind 
  the transparency via say Powerpoint or vlc. 

  Also, when the default background image is blanked to desktop,
  the browser views don’t blank. Instead black bar appears.

  In image you can see this happening with
  church logo + white bg blanked to desktop.

  Running 2.1.6 Portable / Win 8
