Dear Samuel Aquino Rios and thank you for reporting,

Optional split is only used when the whole verse does not fit one slide.

For an example your theme may display up to 10 rows of text.
If you have a song with 12 rows of text and use optional split  after 6th row,
it should split the verse so it has 6 rows in both slides.

If you wish to split verses like that, you can make several copies of one verse.
For an example you may have 10 rows of text each tagged with verse 1.

  Verse is not divided in different slide when [---] is used after 1

Bug description:
  When the Optional Split [---] is used after a 1 line text, the text is
  not divided in different slides, and is joined with the next line or
  lines in the text in one slide.

  I'm using Windows 10 x64
  OpenLP 2.2.1
