OK, not a bug. Preview on click is disabled for presentations and media,
because for the most part they are big files that really suck down your
computer when they are previewed.

FYI: custom slides DO preview.

  When "Settings -> Advanced -> UI Settings -> Preview items when
  clicked in Media Manager" is checked, no preview is shown for
  Presentations (PDF), Media, or Custom Slides)
