We are discussing too many things here! Let's discuss scaling fonts on the mailinglist or perhaps irc.

Renaming "optional split" to "overflow split", seems to be a good solution to avoid some confusion.

My question is if we should add a new "force split" tag? It would allow always splitting a verse in multiple slides but keeping it in the same logical verse. In my view this is a cleaner solution than adding multiple tag with the same verse id.
