Title:
Support searching in remote app with accents for non-English languages
Status in OpenLP:
New
Bug description:
This is a feature request. Currently in remote webapp we can search
for Songs, Bible-verses, etc. For example, if I type "You call me
out", I get Hillsong United's "Oceans" song. For non-English languages
there would be a good feature: "searching with accents/diacritical
marks". For example, the Hungarian first line of Oceans is "Meghívtál
hogy vízre lépjek". Normally on mobile phone we type without accents:
"Meghivtal hogy vizre lepjek" because we don't have full keybord on
phone. This is the normal behavior on phone everywhere, in address
book typically. Currently we must type with accents.
Can you add this feature to webapp?
On desktop (with full keyboard) we do not need this feature.
Perhaps this is COLLATION related feature in SQL.
