[Bug 818570] Re: Can't adjust volume, no sound at all

Hello,
Strange its certainly miss you an dependencies. Take a look at this page : http://openshotusers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=758 and check all the dependencies. I know that the same denominations could change following the appellation of your distribution. Have you libsdl -xxxx installed ? I'm pretty sure that here is your problem. Anyway, all this dependencies are needed for a good working of Openshot. And if you could update this list for your distribution, it will be with pleasure.
Thanks.

Title:
Can't adjust volume, no sound at all

Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
  New

Bug description:
  Hello,

I've just installed Openshot from the community repository on Arch
  Linux (32 bit).

  openshot 1.3.1-1
  mlt-python-bindings 0.7.4-1.1
  pygoocanvas 0.14.1-3
  sdl 1.2.14-6
  librsvg 2.34.0-1
  pyxdg 0.19-2
  pygtk 2.24.0-2
  python2-httplib2 0.6.0-5
  python-imaging 1.1.7-3

Everything works fine except of sound - seems like Openshot just
doesn't play any audio and I can't change the volume of clips (take a
  look at the attached screenshot).

  I can't give you a openshot.debug file, because the debug.py script
  gives me errors.
