  Icons and Tabs initially not showing up

Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
  New

Bug description:
  When starting openshot, neither icons not tabs are showing up.
  The tabs appear e.g. when pressing the ALT key.
  The icons show up, when moving the mouse over the place where they should appear.
  Fedora 15
  Openshot 1.4.0 installed from tar.gz
