Hi,
Check all your dependencies (see herehttp://openshotusers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=758 ), It is the same than the 1.3.0. Like you are on Oneiric, you must install too gtk2-engines-pixbuf too. And after run openshot in a console and put the result if you have always a crash.
