What version of FFmpeg (or libavformat) are you using?  Same with MLT?  If
you have upgraded those packages, it's possible you are experiencing a
known bug in the newest version of MLT.

  It doesn't start in Oneiric

Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
  New

Bug description:
  Hello!!

  The new version OpenShot 1.4.1 installed from those PPA
  "ppa:openshot.developers/ppa" and "ppa:jonoomph/openshot-edge" doesn't
  start. But also, the old version 1.4.0 from the Ubuntu Software Center
  also doesn't start.

  I'm in Ubuntu 11.10, Oneiric.
