committed to our trunk.  This will likely get deployed as 1.4.2 very

  can't add image on timeline

Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
  New

Bug description:
  I'm using OpenShot 1.4.1 from a PPA (ppa:openshot.developers/ppa) on
  Ubuntu 11.10 and I can't add images to the timeline. The green cross
  don't transform into a yellow rectangle as usual (it don't even work
  with the "Add to timeline" window). I tried whith an empty project and
  it did'n work too.
