I too have the "single frame flashing bug" at the beginning of
transitions.  I've tried making the transition longer by starting the
transition sooner thinking that it just wasn't positioned right.  I
added up to 2 seconds as an experiment, the flash continues to stay at
the beginning of transition even though the next video doesn't start for
another second or two.  It seams random.  All the types of transitions
that I use are affected, circle in to out, Big spiral, clock left to
right.  The flashing doesn't seam to happen in the first 20-30 min of
the video.  I have about 80 clips in a 2 hour video.  I haven't tried
the "move clips to the new track" workaround.

My input video is at 29.97 fps, 1080p AVCHD mpeg4, 24Mbps.  Audio is AC3
256 kbps.  It comes from a Canon Vixia hf20.

I've tried Openshot on Ubuntu 10.10, 11.10 and 12.04 beta.  Flashing bug
exists on all.  I've recreated the project multiple times.  I've tried
converting the video to raw format with avconv, then creating a new
project using raw video.  Bug still appears.  Also tried from mpeg 2.

  transition between images not smooth

  New

Bug description:
  when a transition is placed it automaticly snaps to the image. but
  when you play the slideshow just before showing the new image it s
  showing in a flash the new image and then start the transsition. When
  i adjust the placement of the transition by -,02 the transition will
  played coorrectly.

  another thig is that sometimes the trnastion cant be placed. when i
  restat openshot via terminal or menu the problem has been solved. i
  kow someone els who has the same problem.

  i use ubuntu 9.10 64bits
  openshot 1.00  (in sybaptic 1.0.0-1)
