You are using a very old and unsupported version of Openshot. The current
version is 1.4.2. You would also benefit from updating some of the
dependencies, such as frei0r and Mlt.

  when I try to edit a clip when I have more than one effect added it crashes. This happened when doing some chroma key effects. When I added another effect it crashed and everything was lost. It has also happened with other effects besides chroma key.
