[Bug 591890] Re: Put clips back to Project Files
There is an alternate way to do what you want :
You create an additional track (sort of "spare" or "cabinet" track, with
lower priority compared with the existing tracks), and put your clips on
it (if needed, you can disable playback of that whole track by clicking
on the "no video" and "no audio" icons, or do the same for each clip
individually).
Each clip will be recognizable by its distinct thumbnail, which
represents the first image of the clip. You then slide each clip on the
other tracks as needed.
If you need to playback these clips, you can slide them on one of the
other tracks or move them on a region of the "spare/cabinet" track where
there is no clip on higher-priority tracks.

Title:
Put clips back to Project Files
Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
Triaged
Bug description:
Hi folks,
When I import a large File from a camcorder or so, I normaly cut it with the razor and rearrange the whole thing.
Now it would be pretty handy to have the ability to move a cutted clip back to the project files, rename it and
put it back into my timeline later.
regards
Jannis
