I'm having this problem with OpenShot 1.4.3-1 from PPA and Ubuntu 12.04.
Computer freezes completely so I just reboot it everytime. Crash occurs
when editing titles, more specifically, changing the colour/background
of titles (not animated).

The title of the Apport Crash is 
openshot crashed with AttributeError in on_btnEditText_clicked(): frmTitles instance has no attribute 'text_fields'

  libmlt version:  0.7.6+git20120204-2

  Was using Openshot when it became unresponsive after I clicked the
  preview play button.  Here's what the Terminal spit out:

  I've run into this a couple of times today.  I can't reproduce it on-
  command.  It seems to happen randomly, and rarely.  It was working
  fine while I made several cuts, and then it decided to freeze up.
