Same problem here - the Razor tool takes (sometimes many) seconds to
work. Other times it's fast.

MP4 file, running OpenShot on Lubuntu under VirtualBox.

  razor does not cut on first click i oftern click several times and reselect the tool before it splits the tracks.
  ubuntu 12.04
  openshot 1.4.3 and newest version of melt
