[Bug 943024] Re: generating video from image sequence drops frames at end

I know this thread is old, but I came here when looking for a solution.

I had this problem of OpenShot dropping frames at the end of image
sequences. The sequence in question was named 000.png, 001.png and so
on, with no gaps in naming. All frames were imported, but didn't show
when exporting video.

The problem was that the project was set to 30 FPS and then I was
exporting to 25 FPS, which was the fps value I wanted. By creating a new
project, setting it to 25 FPS, importing again the image sequence, and
exporting the video to 25 FPS, the complete image sequence was correctly
exported.

Perhaps a warning about exporting to a FPS setting different than the
project could help with this.

FPS: Frames Per Second

Title:
generating video from image sequence drops frames at end

Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
  New

Bug description:
generating video from image sequence drops frames at end.
  For example,
i've used openshot to successfully create an image sequence from a video (no more than 20 seconds long).
I've chopped up the sequence (and appropriately renamed and renumbered)
  so that the software doesn't have to deal with too many files at once;
I've got a sequence of around 212 png files.
If I then import that image sequence and export to video,
the result leaves a good many frames missing.
