[Bug 1169669] Re: Open Shot on Mint 14 KDE 64-bit HELP FILE doesn't work

We can't resolve this issue with yelp hovewer we will change our method
for displaying help with the serie 2.x.x as Openshot will be multi-
plateform. Yelp is working only on Gnome/GTK environment. I don't think
that we will have this new method with the 2.0.0. version as you can
perhpas know the work for this version is huge. For the moment, I have
introduced a direct link on our online help when the user click on this
item.

Title:
Open Shot on Mint 14 KDE 64-bit HELP FILE doesn't work

Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Architecture: 64 bit
OS=Linux Mint 14 KDE Ed. , 64-bit, running natively, not virtually.
Installation Method: thru Mint's package manager
  Version of OPENSHOT = 1.4.0
BZR/MLT/FFmpeg/FFmpeg installation: all unknown, but not affected by this bug.

This problem has been discussed on numerous Linux boards and blogs.
The problem itself is very simple: When in Openshot and you select F1
for help, or use the 'Help, Contents' menu, help will not open and you
receive a dialogue: "Unable to open the help contents. Please ensure
  the openshot-doc package is installed".

1--the openshot doc package IS installed.
  2--YELP is installed.
3--using Yelp in the terminal window, with the following syntax: "yelp /usr/share/gnome/help/openshot/C/openshot.xml" works PERFECTLY. The file is found and help works perfectly.
4--It will not, however, work within the program.

I've seen this issue on forums / blogs / help desks for over a year.
Is there a solution to this?
