Surprisely, it seems to be corrupted if it is a new project. 
You have not a lot of solutions. To re do it. Strange.
If it is an old project that normal.

   Program will not open old projects. Crashes immediately. Have restarted computer several times.

  Cant open project file

Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
  New

Bug description:
  Not sure what hapened, when I try to open the file it says error
  opening project file. I am running ubuntu 14.04 64 bit and I installed
  with PPA. My version of openshot is 1.4.3
