I'm having similar problems, but also crashes with this error during
editing of the video.

  Export crashes on Windows Platform

Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
  New

Bug description:
  Running Window 10 32bit OpenShot v2.0.6 installed from msi install

  When exporting a project to Mp4(h264) HD 720p 30 fps, the application
  crashes at 3% for a 10 min video.

  The error is :

  Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

  Runtime Error!
  Program: C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenShot Video Editor\ launch.exe

  This application has requested to terminate in an unusual way.
  Please contact the application's support team for more information.
