This happens to me with Openshot 2.1
Ubuntu 16.04.
Installed with PPA.
Video filesize 2GB
Export file: 5 minutes

Title:
  Repeatedly stalls/freezes while exporting video

Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
  New

Bug description:
  Importing H264 mp4 files, and attempting to export, the progress gets
  to 20-30%, then the program freezes. Input file size is about 600MB,
  export should be about 150MB. OS is Windows 7.
