  Playback stops or is stuck

Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
  New

Bug description:
  After 1 or 2 edits under OsX ElCapitan, all playback functionality
  stops. The preview window shows that playback is running but no
  movement of the time line/marker takes place. Space Bar play does not
  work either. Restarting the application restores function until a few
  edits are done. Saving saves all  edits but does not allow playback,
  without a restart. Occasionally minimizing and using another app
  briefly then returning restores playback function as well
