Bug description:
  Arch: x86_64
  OS: Arch Linux kernel:4.9.16
  Install Method: pacman 2.2.0-3 & AUR bzr 2.3.1 dev (both exhibiting the issue)
  MLT version: 6.4.1-5
  Qt Version: 4.8.7-16 & 5.8.0-7
  ffmpeg: 3.2.4-1 & 2.8.11-1 via pacman from core Arch repository

  Window loses focus behind main window, is still open in the taskbar
  popup(as seen in vid) and also the export dialogue does not open,
  pressing the hotbar icon or File > Export Video. However About,
  preferences and file dialogues all work fine.

  This is the only application exhibiting this issue. If i can offer
  more useful information I will endeavour to do so.
