Still a problem for me (also in Xubuntu 18.04). Minimizing the main
OpenShot window works around the problem. If you actually want to see
the tutorial, you need to minimize the main window between each tutorial
pop-up, as it unminimizes each time.

  Cannot turn off/hide "Tutorial

Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
  New

Bug description:
  Running on Linux, Xubuntu 16.04 64 bit, using the AppIamge 2.1

  I click the hide button but nothing happens, do some thing in another
  part of the screen, and the Tutorial goes away, but as soon as I
  return to the clips area it comes back.
